  • Profile Data:Country of Residence, User preferences, surveys, feedback, support, and User Content posted in the Social Ideas Sharing Community.

2.2 Data Collected Automatically.

  • Technical Data: IP address, login data, browser type, time zone setting, and operating system.

  • Usage Data: Details of your visits to the App, 'Horizon' forecasts viewed, and interaction with 'Opportunities' forecasts, pages viewed, session activity, general usage patterns, and interactions with other features in our App to improve the functionality, performance, and user experience of our Services.

2.3 Third-Party Payment Delegation.

To ensure the highest standards of security and compliance, ScanAlpha does not directly collect, store, or process full credit card numbers and bank account credentials. All financial transactions are facilitated through Stripe and its respective global affiliates ("Stripe"), serving as our authorized Payment Processor.

  • Data Segregation and Security Protocols (PCI-DSS). By initiating a transaction on the Platform, you acknowledge and agree to the direct transmission of your financial data to Stripe. Stripe acts as an independent Data Controller for this specific data set and is contractually obligated to adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) Level 1 certification. ScanAlpha utilizes tokenization technology and does not access to your Card Number or CVV code. All payment data is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols directly from your client device to Stripe’s servers.

  • Retained Transactional Metadata. To facilitate account provisioning, tax compliance (where applicable), and audit trails, ScanAlpha receives and retains limited "Transaction Metadata"from Stripe, limited to:

    • Transaction Status: Confirmation of success, failure, or dispute (chargeback) status.

    • Subscription Attributes: Billing interval, tier level, and renewal dates.

    • Payment Method Details (Redacted): solely for user identification purposes (legally required to prove user location).

    • Unique Identifiers: Stripe Customer ID and Invoice IDs required for reconciliation.

  • External Governance. Your financial information is subject to Stripe’s own privacy governance. We strongly recommend that Users, particularly those in jurisdictions with strict banking secrecy laws (e.g., Switzerland, Singapore, Cayman Islands), review Stripe’s Global Privacy Policy at https://stripe.com/privacy. Scanalpha expressly disclaims liability for any data breach, unauthorized access, or compromise resulting from Stripe’s systems or acts of third-party intrusion upon Stripe’s infrastructure.

  1. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We process your data for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To register you as a new customer and provide the 'Horizon' and 'Opportunities' features.

  • Identity Verification: Using your Mobile Number for One-Time Password (OTP) verification to secure your account (KYC/Security).

  • AI Model Training: To analyze anonymized Usage Data and Public User Content to train, validate, and improve our AI algorithms and forecasting models. Legal Basis: Legitimate Interests (to improve our services) and Contract (License grant in Terms).

  • Community Engagement: To display your posts and Username in the Social Ideas Sharing Community.

  • Marketing: To send you updates and offers, subject to your explicit consent where required by law (e.g., GDPR, TCPA).

  1. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We operate globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence.

  • Transfers from EEA/UK: We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission/UK ICO to ensure your data remains protected.

  • Transfers from Singapore: We ensure recipients typically provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

  • Transfers from Dubai (DIFC): We comply with the adequacy requirements of the DIFC Data Protection Law.

5.1 Europe (GDPR) & UK.

  • Rights: Access, rectification, erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"), restriction, portability, and objection to processing.

5.2 United States (California & Federal).

  • TCPA: By providing your number, you consent to receive account-related SMS. Marketing SMS requires your additional "prior express written consent" via checkbox.

  • CCPA/CPRA: You have the right to know what personal info we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal info.

5.3 Singapore.

  • DNC Registry: We will not send marketing messages to Singapore numbers registered on the Do Not Call Registry without clear and unambiguous consent.

  • Access/Correction: You may request access to your personal data in our possession or control.

5.4 Australia.

APP 1 Notification: This policy serves as our notification under Australian Privacy Principle 1. We are likely to disclose your personal information to overseas recipients in.
